About the Author Jeffrey Ian Ross, Ph.D. is a Professor in the School of Criminal Justice, College of Public Affairs, and a Research Fellow of the Center for International and Comparative Law at the University of Baltimore. He has researched, written, and lectured on national security, political violence, political crime, violent crime, corrections, policing, cybercrime, and crime and justice in American Indian communities for over two decades. Ross' work has appeared in many academic journals and books, as well as popular media. He is the author, co-author, editor, or co-editor of several books.

I needed a supplemental source for a term paper I am writing. I already have over 10 sources that I used for most of my paper but needed a few more sources so I grabbed this one thinking I could pick out a line or two for support of a thought. After skimming through this book I decided to buy a personal copy because this source flows almost perfectly with my research and does so without beating around the bush. (sorry if this review is a bit sloppy, its 3am Saturday morning) But this book covers a lot of interesting events and topics in the Religion and Violence category. If you are a religion major or interested in Religion and Violence I suggest either buying this (if it is within your means) or spending the afternoon in your library checking it out.
