1 of 2 people found the following review helpful. The original Robot story is worth your time By A student of History The play that introduced the world to the word robot is worth a read by any science fiction enthusiast, roboticist, literati, or just interested party. Not only does the play coin the term robot but it has apocalypse level consequences (mind you this is written well before the current fad) that result from an unrestrained desire for cheap labor, freedom from work, and idealism acted on without adequate considerations of the consequences. The play offers some insights into what makes us human, and its not what you might think.
