The dialogue leading to the victim's flashbacks are products of my imagination; however the flashback memories are the victim's. The victim, who remains anonymous, has listened to and approved this novella.

This story is so sad to think how children of the sixties had no resources to help them get the help they needed..Makes you wonder where were the teachers ,peers and doctors were ? A heartbreaking story of the abuse of a child that continues into adulthood. I would recommend this book to all readers that would like to know the story from the eyes of the victim. A very well written and talented author.

Far from being an original story it is distinguishable by the fact it is based on a true story. Through seemingly inconsequential daily life incidents we are invited into the life of the victim through flashbacks.Throughout the story I began to wonder if the child subconsciously misbehave and hurt herself in a desperate attempt to release herself from the life she was living.It made me swear to myself to pay more attention to the child who always seems to be crying for nothing. You never know what they are going through at home.This is a good, but very hard story to read without wanting to hurt someone.
