About the Author
Ralph Hosier's childhood enthusiasm for cars blossomed into a career spanning more than two decades in vehicle engineering, working with the likes of Ford, Bentley, Jaguar and Land Rover. He has owned and maintained many Land Rovers and the majority of pictures in this book are of Ralph's own Discoverys, with him doing the work shown. He is a chartered engineer and member of the Institute of the Motor Industry, and the Institutaiton of Engineering and Technology. In recent years he has written many technical articles for magazines such as Land Rover Monthly, Octane, Practical Classics and Classics Monthly.

A good general guide to the land rover discovery By Amazon Customer This is a very good technical introduction to both series 1 and series 2 land rover discoverys. It covers both V8 and diesel versions and I am just knocking one star off because it does not cover more detail of later versions with later coil pack ignition and the secondary air injection found in some usa bound models.
