Excellent resource on what it takes to TRULY become a good photographer By Jim Price This is a good take on photography and provides a realistic perspective on what it takes to take quality pictures and to progress at the craft. I have recently been thinking of buying an actual camera (other than my smartphone) and have been researching what the difference between a normal point and shoot camera vs. a higher quality one is, and this book helps to shed light on what taking quality pictures entails.This is written by someone who obviously has a lot of valuable photography experience, and the hints and suggestions to progress your skill level are practical and well explained.Thank you for a very insightful look at what it takes to start getting serious about photography. I will definitely be using many of these insights.

Some straight forward points for those who've always wanted to enter the world of photography. It's very short, simple and easy to read and it's not too technical, perfect for children and those who just want to learn the basics.
