9 of 9 people found the following review helpful. No, it's not normal. Hence the title. By Edub82 Yeah, it's codependent and messed up as all hell. But let's forget about that and get lost in the fantasy, because this is super freaking hot. Best friends, one who is desperately in love, and the other knows it. He doesn't do the kind thing and observe boundaries. In fact, he stomps all over them, taking every grain of attention and affection offered like it's necessary to his survival. And let's not even get into the possessiveness. Now do you see the potential for some crazy intense, dysfunctional tension? This is a really fun read, and relatively short. Go for it, and keep a cold drink handy.

Not what I expected but I totally loved this By M Jones I've read the previous two books in the series, so I expected that this book would be like them. I was wrong. It's not as explicit as Twisted and Obsessed, but it's a far better, deeper love story. At first I wasn't sure I liked Gabriel, he was really not your average hero. He's a bit selfish, but he truly adores Jared and I could believe he could become gay for him. And I wanted Jared to be happy so much, the angst was delicious, and I'm so glad to get a HEA!Have to say the title fits the book. This book is not your typical romance. Their relationship is so close and totally codependent it really borders on unhealthy, but they're perfect! I felt they were really made for each other. Loved this and looking forward to Tristan's book!

This is the third book of Alessandra Hazard that I have read in the "Straight Guys" series. Loved everyone of them. This one grabbed me more. Why? Maybe because it was all about love in the wrong places.I truly believe that one can fall in love with anyone, even with a gay man, notwithstanding the girlfriend in the wings. Gabriel was a tough nut to crack. I can see where Jared was so frustrated and ultimately gave Gabriel the ultimatum. At some point, un-reacquainted love must stop. I'm glad that Gabriel got the message whether based on selfish reason or not. Better late than never.Definitely a five star in my book!
