Gray As an amateur lover of historical automobiles, I purchased this book because it seemed to have some intriguing content. To my surprise, it not only contained beautiful illustrations of amazing sports cars from America’s past, but it’s also written with obvious authority by an author whose passion made the book that much more palatable. I enjoyed learning about obscure sports cars that I never knew existed while reading about the history of some of the more prevalent models. This book is filled with page after page of delicious automobiles from the Cheetah and Ghia GS-1, to the Sunbeam Tiger and iconic Corvette. Up until this book, I never even knew the Cheetah, for example, even existed: a monster of a vehicle that practically devoured anything in its path.In summation, if you love studying and seeing vibrant pictures of beautiful historic cars then you will love this book. I’m going to keep it my library without a doubt so that I can refer back and obsess over these beautiful machines for a long time to come.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. great book about sport cars gonna recommend it By Clarisse Brooks a truly remarkable history of american made sport cars even though it is in my early generations i really admire the content of this book. i purchase this because of my brother who was fascinated by cars especially sports car but i first look at it and it really impressed me a lot. it is just detailed a little but it gives you a information you can get.i liked how it show images of the cars and the showroom it make you feel that you in the past times by looking at those images. i heard all of this cars from my brother but it is different when you see them.really recommended
