4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Win, win, WIN By DMO 1. False Security with Alex the ex con and Laney the ex cop. He needs her help to clear his name. Yeah, he robbed the bank and did his time, but when nine million dollars from the heist was stolen, again, Laney had been framed right along with him. He knows she is innocent. The problem is, she still thinks he's guilty. She can't believe they let him out of prison. She lost her job as a cop because of him and the last thing she wants to do is breathe the same airspace as him. Let alone help him.This novella has the feel of an old fashioned spy novel. The storyline was interesting and worked well. The romance didn't work for me. The '...sigh' factor was missing. Laney couldn't get past her mistrust of Alex even though he proved they both had been set up. My individual rating for this book is four stars.2. Framed Secrets with Kathleen the artist and Matt the art broker against a desperate terrorist. A terrorist has hidden something while hiding in a frame shop. Laney has just had several paintings framed for an art exhibit. All the paintings don't stay together for long. Laney thinks it's her lucky day when all of her art sells shortly after it is hung. Until a man with a gun shows up looking for the missing pieces. Matt just bought a painting from a woman he's been thinking about since college. He can't wait to finally connect with her... until she shows up at his door at 4 am.This one has constant motion and danger once the plot is established. A couple of times I lost some of the visual. I would go back and reread the description of the action to recapture the visual continuity. I admittedly read faster when the action ramps up so that could have caused the bumps in visualization. My individual rating for this book is four stars.3. Sanctuary Hidden (WITSEC Town Series 2.5) Cyan the singer and Nate the pro-football player. Cyan's career has bottomed out and she's not sorry. It was her mother's dream, not hers. Now that her mom is dead she can direct her own life. Just one last gig. Nate is out for the season with an injury. He and his body guard are in a club. When he sees two men trying to force the woman who was just singing out the back he and his bodyguard intervene. The bodyguard stays behind as Nate escapes with her. Whoever these people are that are after her are more dangerous and insistent than he could have imagined. She, however, has a good idea of what they may be in for. She had escaped it once before.In this novella we have action, danger, romance and clearly developed characters. It is a little harder to follow in the beginning than the first two but that doesn't last and you are soon catapulted into this well developed adventure. This book is part of a series but works as a stand alone. I've passed by the Sanctuary books in the past. After reading this novella I can't wait to invest in the rest of the series. This was my favorite of the three in one volume. My individual rating for this book is five stars.All of the stories are well edited with just a few spelling errors. They also all carry a light Christian thread. There are no cliffhangers and each story works as a stand alone. I give the overall collection four and a half stars and I recommend this book.

By Mike Boswell Just finished reading Angela Ruth Strong's part of this set "False Security" and loved it. I thought the story line was original and loved that both of the main characters had a relationship with the Lord even though they both struggled with real life issues! I couldn't put it down and looking forward to her next one.
