About the Author Lefton is retired Principal at Theodore Roosevelt High School, New York City.Craig Romano is Washington's most prolific guidebook author, which suits the energetic writer's passion for hiking, running, kayaking, and cycling. Craig has written about his outdoor passions for dozens of publications, including Seattle Met, Backpacker, Paddler, Adventures NW, AMC Outdoors, Washington Trails, and CityDog. He is currently a columnist for Northwest Runner, Outdoors NW, Seattle Magazine, and The Mountaineer, and is the author or co-author of more than ten guidebooks.

Old Regents Are Also Available on Line By New York State/Explanations of the Correct Answers Are Not By I Shop 2 The one nice thing about this publication is that is explains the answers after a student has taken the practice exams included. These exams are posted on line at the NYSED but the explanations are not. Of course a student must sit down and take the practice exams. That is the key to having this publication be a special help.

So before I took that exam I bought this book for some practice problems, and it did help. I scored a 710 although I it had been 2 years since I took W.Hist. If you also plan to buy the Barron's How to...World History, read the review section, which is pretty good, but don't let their exam questions tarnish your perceptions. The questions intensified popular misconceptions and what not. That's why you would want this book for practice questions. Ironic: same publishers, two different recommendations.

Furthermore, the book includes a glossary and an extensive list of important historical figures. Furthermore, the essays are incredible well-written and very descriptive. This book is a fantastic resource. Without any hesitation at all, I strongly recommend this book to anyone who wants to do well on the Global History Regents!
