He is an editorial board member of several journals and has chaired and created numerous IEEE conferences. He is former EiC of the IEEE Communications Surveys and Tutorials.Raouf Boutaba is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Waterloo, Canada. He has published extensively in the area of network and service management and received several journal and conference Best Paper Awards such as the 2008 IEEE Fred W. Ellersnick Prize Paper Award as well as other recognitions such as the Dan Stokesbury award and the McNaughton Gold Medal. He is a fellow of the IEEE and the Engineering Institute of Canada.

Zuckerman This is a well-written, easy-to-read text that should form the basis for a holistic understanding of "the Cloud." It nicely weaves together not just cloud services and networking, but also cloud management. It also covers all the latest paradigms, such as SDN and Virtualization, as well as applications to Big Data. In addition to covering material that has practical application to service providers and enterprises, It also suggests a variety of opportunities for future research. The authors and the contributors to this excellent work are highly regarded in the field, and this book is a good example of why that's so. This book would be valuable reading for beginners, intermediates and experts interested in the subject. I highly recommend it!
