Consider the book is purely introduction, share your knowledge By Daly watching youtube or reading some of websites on fire phone setup prove to add more value on learning and using the Fire phone. Even Amazon could have done better job on the many little known or obscure features of the phone. Some of my favorite.Hold down the home button, a microphone pops up, speak your request; something like "nearest post office" a response of "Let me get that for you" and a map with your request pops up.Simultaneously holding down.volume and power button will take a screen-shot of the phone screen.Pressing the side panel camera (short push) FireFly(longer push of camera button) both work even when the phone is locked.If you have Fire stick or the other, you can show your pictures/videos on you TV, watch things you've downloaded.Flashlight... swipe down to access settings, flashlight is on the right side top corner, also handy for getting to several other functions like WiFi, Bluetooth; while holding the phone a quick up/down shake will also get you to the setting area.While viewing the weather app, flick or swipe from left, you can add additional locations, select one of your locations, flick or swipe right to see several day forecast for multiple locations.Settings>>>>Location Services>>>Disable Enhance Location Services >>>Location Mode Turn on Enhance Location, this will enable you to make your phone alarm from within Amazon website, also turn on Find My Phone, again from Amazon you can see last location the phone had access to WiFi.Viewing browser, PDF and some books..... slowly tilt screen up/down to scroll.Group apps by dragging one app onto of another, they will be placed into a group, give the group a name...for me the carousel can get cluttered, I try remove items I am not using from the carousel, the groups help me quickly find/use any app I need.Contacts app, use the VIP star for often called numbers; now you can flick/swipe right to see all your VIP contacts.Email I have multiple email addresses, I have added them all, Flick/Swipe right, you can see your email groups, or combine to view all your emails, you can have them color coded to identify email origin. The calendar works pretty much the same, though I wish the underline date would was color coded to match the calendar that is being used, If I had a birthday calendar, the date would be underlined in a color that would signal to my forgetful brain.Fire up your locker...if you have some favorite photos, brag pics; from the lock screen>>> swipe right to left, hit the plus button, scroll through your pics, select one you like, click the check mark. (repeat to add more) in future; wanna show em off, swipe right to left now your family/friends can handle your phone see OLNLY your locket pictures.. tip, if you've added pics to your locket, you have to scroll to end to access the plus sign for adding more, also there is no option for slideshow. you have to slide to see each photo, I am hoping for future updates..but now that the phone is orphaned I am not holding my breath for future updates.With better marketing/initial price point, not alining with any specific service provider, seems Amazon has acquiesce by allowing google play to be installed. all steps in a positive direction these plus all the benefits of prime would happily keep me in the A.EcoSys; even now I'd leap to get my hands on a 64gb.Please share your tips/tricks

A lot of time I am not at a place to pick up WiFi so I have no internet service on it. I would like to know how to get 3G on it.
