Lynette was a clear hypocrite in her situation with Jamaal. One scene towards the end seems like it was just tossed in the book for dramatic effect. I don't know if there will be a part two because of the way it ends but I will give this author another shot.

For the life of me I don't understand why Lynette put up with Jamaal and his ish if she was so independent. Some of the scenes were unbelievable (correctional officer spending the kinda of money she was). I'm guessing there will be a part 2 since there are some unanswered parts to the story.

There wasn't much she wouldn't do for her man. Sometimes there's signs when a man is creeping but as they say love is blind. I felt for her when it came out that jamaal was cheating on her. I'm anxious to see where this story goes...
