This was an intriguing tale centering around Vera Winter, who is a CEO of a fashion house, and she aims for top however not everyone would like her to succeed. The storyline features social intrigue and backstabbing involving Ronald West who wants to take her down. I’ve enjoyed reading about other characters as well, especially Andre Hunt. The twists and turns of this story have kept me wrapped up reading it in suspense, a great weekend read with realistically depicted high fashion social life.

She takes everything life puts at her by the horns and the way she dealt with adversities and her enemies was interesting to follow. The plot only kept getting more interesting and I was excited to see how her struggle with Ronald West would end up. As someone who loves the fashion world, this one was definitely nicely written with imaginative details and thoughtful characters. I would highly recommend it.
