By Viktor There is nothing professional about this book; none of the concepts are what I would consider "professional", just a few unclear fundamentals are described. This book only covers only the most basic of things with the C programming language. All descriptions are extremely vague; and doesn't lay out clear concepts of this particular programming language. This book isn't clear enough for a beginner to learn anything about the language, nor does it go far enough for someone in computer science to really gain anything. The furthest thing this book gets into is loops, and merely mentions functions.It takes about 2 hours to read. For 14 dollars I'd expect more material.I can't believe that there are so many five star reviews.After reading this book you will be able to print out "Hello World" in the language, thats about it.You could seriously gain a lot more in regards to learning the language from watching a free tutorial on YouTube rather than read this book.I don't know why in the world this has so many 5 star reviews

If you are still learning the basics of the language like me, this isn't going to help.It talks about arrays on page one, but doesn't explain what they are until the next chapter or two. Even the explanation is so full of technical jargon, a new person like me won't get it.I would imagine if Sheldon Cooper wrote a book on programming , it would be like this. You think you are explaining what an array is but you are actually causing more confusion. Explain it like I'm 5.
