This is the story of Dudley’s forty-five years in the motor industry, from his apprenticeship at the MG works at Abingdon, progressing to the preparation of rally cars, moving on to the retail trade, and finally returning to the manufacturers. Dudley enjoyed his life in the industry, and here he shares some of his experiences during his apprenticeship and within the Competitions Department of BMC/BL, giving the reader inside experience of what it was like preparing the cars for a very successful rally team. Adapting to working in the retail trade, after the closure of the Competitions Department, Dudley maintains he was always in the right place at the right time, with one notable exception when he spent the night in jail. MGs, The Mini, and Me is an amusing tale of one man’s journey from apprentice to management.

I loved the technical info and was soon transported back to the days of rallying with the likes of Paddy Hopkirk etc.I think the flow of the story could have been improved by stronger editing. Also, in my opinion, at times is that there is too much personal information, but, as this is essentially a "boys book", I expect the author's sexual exploits will by applauded by the boy racers of yesteryear.Having said this, I thoroughly enjoyed MG's The Mini and Me.

That session was very well received, so much so that it was one of the highest rated sessions of the dozens that took place at the conference.I really liked 30 Tips, Tricks & Tools to Save You Time with Social Media and Blogging, because it was filled with lots of useful resources I didn’t previously know about, and also it was a super quick read, so I was able to go through it quickly and get on to checking out the tips, tricks, and tools that Ashley had shared.Also, the book is written in the fun style that is Ashley’s voice, and that makes an enjoyable read from what could have been a dry, boring presentation of social media and blogging strategies and tools.

Normally books with similar titles suck more than a shop full of vacuum cleaners. This is different!Essentially for a relatively low price (less than a dollar a chapter) you get 23 concisely written chapters from various online marketers, giving you a rapid-fire overview about many aspects of online marketing. By gum it does work too. Naturally the chapters cannot tell you everything about their subjects yet it can give you a great taste or overview, allowing you to get a foothold and then build up your knowledge as you require.Despite not needing a book like this as the subjects were not “new” or “confusing”, this reviewer did find the collection of various bits of wisdom to be a great consolidated resource. A timely, helpful reminder if can call it that. It feels suitable for both beginner and more experienced pro alike. It just needs to give you a tip here, a web address there or something and you’ve easily got your money’s worth.The authors carefully manage to balance their text so that it is not patronisingly simple for the more-experienced reader and neither is it a “geek-fest” for the uninitiated. A great balance has been reached and it feels as if the book is just oozing out information through each and every page.There truly is not that much more to add. It is a great little resource covering everything from building your digital media platform and smart online marketing to traffic building and utilising the latest technologies and tools. What is there not to like?Even if you are sceptical as to whether you have a need for this, go and check it out at a bookstore.

By Jay Paul Becoming a certified strength and conditioning specialist is something that will truly set you apart from other personal trainers who may have certifications such as ACSM, NASM, etc. As I've learned from my courses, the more certifications you have the better. CSCS is a certification that is widely recognized and will be sure to make you stand out to potential employers and candidates.Preparing to take the exam for any fitness certification can prove to be quite the nerve-wracking experience. However, CSCS is a notoriously difficult exam, so anxiety for this exam is a normal feeling. Studying and preparation are both the key to a good score on your certification test, and this study guide will give you the necessary information to make sure you are prepared!This study guide is very well written and includes sections on:* Test-taking strategies* Exercise Science* Nutrition* Exercise Technique* Program Design* Organization and Administration* Testing and Evaluation* Vocabulary* even a Practice Test & Answer key WITH explanations!Needless to say, this study guide contains a wealth of information! While I would have liked to have seen some pictures or diagrams in this guide, the text is very well written, so much so that anybody can understand the language, whether you're a beginner or a fitness guru. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME By shad I will start off by saying that this guide was extremely unhelpful. Starting at question 7 of the practice text the answer key gives an incorrect answer and follows it with an even worse explanation, and it only gets worse from there. This book is only 146 pages long, and of these 146 pages 88 of them are just vocabulary and test taking strategies, the next 30 pages are the 220 practice questions, and the rest of the book is the answer key with explanations of the answers. I waited too long to look at my book so I can no longer return it, but I would tell anyone else looking to get this book.. don't waste your money and time. I would suggest the 4th edition of the Essentials of Strength Training and Conditioning as a better study tool.

JavaScript professional is a book that gives great insight into this programming aspect By TS JavaScript professional is a book that gives great insight into this programming aspect, and is done in a way that even me, a programming dummy can comprehend.For me, I got so fed up with purchases that promised to teach me how to understand JavaScript, but as soon as I'd open the resource I'd close it because there's so much computer language that I just don't understand.What I mist loved about this book was that it wasn't a million pages long, and it contained language and information that I understood completely. Basically, I was ecstatic that I didn't close the book and feel more confused than before I started it. Finally, someone who fully understands it that can explain it to people who don't! I highly recommend this resource and feel it should be a mandatory addition to learning JavaScript.

The Author writes 30 pages of drivel, calls it a book and then pays for fake reviews. He does it over and over with all his books. For simply the gall of him calling a book "professional" when it is less than half a chapter of a real book is worthy of the 1 star alone.Again, read the reviews and check the reviewers. A classic example is the reviewer "Steven C. Mills". If you check his reviews you will see that he has reviewed over 40 books in the last 3 weeks. All 5 stars. He calls this 30 page pamphlet the "definitive guide to javascript". And claims that in those 30 pages it beats out every single other book in detail. He also uses the same grammar most fake reviews have. Some of the other reviews don't even know there is a difference between Java and JavaScript and thus have clearly never read a book on either.This book will not teach you anything you can't learn from a single decent blog. Information available in this book is very very basic and does NOT really help to learn JS. We can get more information freely on web about this language.I would recommend Amazon to screen quality of books before keeping them for sale on Kindle. I had purchased other books of this author, all these books are having very very basic info about programming languages, which we can get them on web free of cost.

The LSAT changes with time. Get the newest test; it's the best indicator of what future tests will look like. Considering how important the LSAT is to your odds of admission, this book is well worth the price. You should also get the following books:LSAT 75, LSAT 74, LSAT 73, LSAT 72LSATs 62-71, LSATs 52-61Total cost is around $60-$70. There's no better investment you could make towards a better LSAT score. For more practice, get preptests 29-38. Note that only preptests 66-76 have two pages for logic games diagrams. Use only the second page for your diagrams. It is surprisingly easy to lose your train of thought when you have to move your eyes across multiple pages. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Practically Worthless By Amazon Customer I was too stupid to download the PDF of my LSAT during the 6 months it was available. Silly me for not realizing that the test I paid $180 to take would only be up there for a certain length of time before LSAC needed to make additional profit on it. The Kindle version is awful because it is formatted in a senseless manner where the questions don't fit neatly on a page, nor can you print it to actually get some practical study time out of it. Worthless for studying. Buy a print version and share it with your peers for free.
